Therapy Services

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

I offer EMDR therapy, a proven and effective way to process trauma and find relief from its lasting effects. EMDR uses eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help your brain reprocess difficult memories, making them less distressing and allowing you to move forward. It's also a powerful tool for managing chronic pain and the emotional challenges that can come with a chronic illness.

If you're struggling with the impact of trauma, pain, or illness, EMDR can help you find healing and create a more positive future.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that examines how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence daily life and challenges. First, we will create a treatment plan that will work to identify what is preventing you from reaching your goals. Throughout this work, we will challenge negative beliefs, behaviors, and emotions while gradually and safely processing the traumatic memories at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Part of the process is also creating a toolbox of coping skills to effectively manage the emotional and physical symptoms that may arise during this process. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy typically uses interventions such as exposure, reframing unhelpful thoughts, and practicing skills outside the therapy room.

  • Individual Psychotherapy

In my individual therapy sessions, I provide a supportive environment to explore your thoughts and emotions. Together, we'll identify the root causes of your challenges and create a personalized plan for healing and growth using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic awareness, and mindfulness practices tailored to your needs and goals.

  • Family & Teen Support

I incorporate family work (seeing the family together or using family sessions to support teens and young adults) to develop effective communication strategies and build strong relationships.
