Welcome to My Practice:

A Safe Space for Healing & Growth

About Alexis

As a therapist specializing in trauma and chronic illness, I am dedicated to guiding individuals and families on their journey toward healing and thriving. My approach integrates evidence-based trauma-informed therapies like EMDR and somatic work with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), fostering a personalized path toward growth and resilience.

With a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, I am passionate about supporting those with chronic medical conditions and medical trauma whose mental health needs are often underserved. I strive to establish a secure and supportive therapeutic environment where you can freely explore your emotions and cultivate effective coping strategies.

 FAQs

  • Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your reasons for seeking support, your goals, and any concerns you may have. It's also an opportunity for you to get a sense of my approach and whether we might be a good fit for working together. If applicable, we can also discuss your family or other important relationships in your life. Each session is typically 50 minutes.

  • While I don't work directly with insurance companies, if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I'm happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

  • Individual sessions are $225 per 50-minute session, while sessions for minors (under 18) are $250 per 50-minute session. Family sessions are $290 per 75-minute session. I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Superbills are available upon request.

I invite you to take the courageous step towards a brighter, empowered life. I'm here to support you every step of the way.
